Folks sorry I’ve not cut a C4 Racing update in some time. Work has been crazy and I was off the bike for the better part of  2 weeks because of being gone with work. Work remains very hectic so my updates are going to be a little shorter however, I will get the information out and will put together race rosters.

Carolina Speedway Series
========================
Coming this weekend is two days of Criterium Racing at the Rougemont Race Track up in Orange County, NC. About 80 miles north of Fayetteville, this course is 3/8 in length and is held on a car racing oval. The course is fast and perfect for experienced racers and new ones alike as it offers high speeds and yet the chances of getting dropped are slim as riders are continuously challenged as they try and get away from the field.

Right now, several C4 Racing riders will be racing this event on Saturday. Currently slotted are:

Tom Brew Cat 4/5
Daniel Brew  Juniors

Justin Evans (Tentative) Juniors

Noah Jordahl (Cat 3 / 4, Pro 1/2/3)
Joe O’Callaghan ( Cat 3/4, Pro 1/2/3)


We’re looking for 4 x more riders in Cat 4 and 5 as well as 2x women racers.  We’ll leave the Fort Bragg area at about 645 Saturday morning. If you want to join us, please email me at jocallaghan@nc.rr.com so we can work transportation requirements. Remember, this is the perfect opportunity for racers to get out there and test themselves before the Patriots Crterium

Patriot’s Criterium
===================
Coming the Memorial Day Weekend will be an abridged running of the Dragon’s Challenge with one event: the Patriot’s Criterium, held on historic Hay St. in down town Fayetteville. This will also be the state championship.  We’re looking for maximum participation of C4 Racing riders so expect multiple emails and phone calls so we can make sure you’re a show at the race.   

If you plan on racing this event, please email me at jocallaghan@nc.rr.com so I can build you on our rosters. Likewise, we’ll be setting up a warm up area for C4 Racing so I need numbers so I can ensure tentage, etc.

State Road Racing Championships
===============================
Right around the corner we have the State Road Race Championships held in wonderful Salisbury, NC, a city known best for it’s intense cyclocross scene.  We’re looking for maximium participation there as well. If you plan on racing this event, please contact me direct at jocallaghan@nc.r.com

So far scheduled to race:

Daniel Brew (14-16)

Joe O’Callaghan (35-40)

We’re also looking for support staff for this race to operate the feed zone for all riders. The race distances are between 28 and 80 miles.
